Gustavo E. Galante, M.D. - Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
At his Northwest Indiana plastic surgery practice, Dr. Gus Galante and his staff are deeply committed to philanthropy. One of the many charitable organizations his practice supports is Breast Oasis, a nonprofit organization that collects new and gently used bras and donates them to women in need. Dr. Galante is proud to designate his office as a local drop-off site for Breast Oasis donations, and makes it easy for his patients to donate bras to women in need.

About Breast Oasis
Breast Oasis provides new and clean, lightly used bras to women who need them most. It's a unique charity organization in that it connects donors and recipients through its own website. Here's how it works:
- Bras are collected, laundered and then gift-wrapped for delivery.
- Each bra is labeled with a bra identification number (BIN). Donors can use this number on the website to write a supportive message to the bra's recipient. The woman who receives the bra can then use the BIN number to read your message online.
- Breast Oasis was established by a plastic surgeon who wanted to encourage women undergoing physical changes through cosmetic surgery to help other women in transition. Founded in 2009, the program has provided clean bras to thousands of women across the country.
How You Can Help
After breast enhancement procedures at our Indiana practice, many of our patients find that their bras no longer fit. Rather than throwing them away, they can drop them off at our office or mail them to one of our practice locations below:
322 Indianapolis Blvd #103
Schererville, IN 46375
3800 St Mary Dr #101
Valparaiso, IN 46383
Breast surgery patients aren't the only ones who can make a difference. Anyone can help. Whether you want to donate a bra you no longer wear, or you have purchased a new bra specifically for donation, just bring it to our practice and we'll take care of the rest.
Breast Oasis also accepts monetary contributions. Visit www.breastoasis.org to learn more about how you can help.
