Make This Your Most Confident Summer Yet
Redefine your appearance with body contouring procedures from Indiana plastic surgeon Dr. Gus Galante to feel and look fabulous. Whether you want to enhance your breasts or get rid of winter weight gain, you can reshape your body and make this your best summer to date.
We offer several popular body sculpting procedures designed to give you a shape you love:
Breast Augmentation: A shapelier silhouette can be yours! Breast implants can help you achieve a feminine, attractive figure. Dr. Galante can guide you to determining which implant type and size are right for your body.
Liposuction: Stubborn trouble zones are no match for liposuction! This procedure eliminates fat deposits from common problem areas, such as the abdomen, buttock, and thighs.
Tummy Tuck: If your exercise routine isn’t giving you the sculpted abs you want, a tummy tuck can help! Tummy tuck surgery is designed to improve the appearance of your midsection by removing excess skin and fat while tightening your skin. No amount of sit-ups can do all that!
Celebrate Your Independence with Customized Injectables
This 4th of July, celebrate your unique look with customized injectable treatments from Dr. Galante! Mix and match between our selection of premier anti-aging injections, including JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®, and BOTOX® Cosmetic , for a look that is all your own. Add volume to hollow areas of the face, fill in wrinkles, or relax muscle movement – the choice is yours!
Here are some of Dr. Galante’s suggestions for age-defying combinations:
BOTOX+Restylane: The muscle-relaxing effects of BOTOX combined with Restylane’s volumizing action makes this combination great for a “liquid face lift.”
BOTOX+JUVÉDERM: These complementary treatments make a terrific team. Try this combination for smoothing out those wrinkles and filling in frown lines.
Restylane+JUVÉDERM: The perfect pair: use JUVÉDERM to fill in laugh lines and plump up lips with Restylane.
Protecting Your Skin This Season
Want to keep your skin healthy and happy during the summer heat? Follow these tips for beautiful skin this season.
You already know the importance of wearing sunscreen during the summer to prevent skin cancer, sunburns, and premature aging. But do you know what the term SPF stands for? If you are confused by the array of sunscreens on the market, you’re not alone. Tips from Dr. Galante for super summer skin include:
SPF (Sun Protection Factor) – This term tells you how long you can be in the sun before getting burned. For example, if you normally burn after 30 minutes of sun exposure, a sunscreen with SPF 30 would allow you to be in the sun 30 times longer (approximately 7 hours) before burning.
UVA/UVB (Ultraviolet A-rays and Ultraviolet B-rays) – These terms refer to different types of ultraviolet radiation. You can remember the difference between them this way: UVA rays Age your skin while UVB rays Burn your skin.
Broad-spectrum – A broad spectrum sunscreen provides protection from both UVA and UVB rays for more complete coverage.
Titanium Dioxide/Zinc Oxide – These ingredients are UV filters that physically block the absorption of ultraviolet radiation. Unlike chemical sunscreens, they reflect the light and often have an opalescent sheen.
