Case #101

This 34 year old home maker scheduled a consultation in my Indiana plastic surgery office desiring breast augmentation. After giving birth to and breastfeeding three children, she noted that her breasts had lost significant volume. Her tops and bathing suits did not give her the attractive appearance she once had. She was wearing an A cup bra and desired to restore her appearance to a C cup. Her breasts were deflated and the skin excess was notable.

She elected to proceed with surgery after a discussion regarding the options available. She chose a saline implant, and I recommended a position under the muscle to lessen the appearance of visible rippling, especially in the cleavage area where she would wear a low cut top. The approach would be through a small incision in the breast crease.

Following her breast enhancement surgery at the Same Day Surgery Center, where much of our plastic surgery is performed, her bra size went from an A cup to a C cup. Enlargement and improved symmetry was accomplished with a 380cc saline implant on the left side and a 400cc saline implant on the right. Her photos show an aesthetically pleasing breast shape that fit a small D cup.
