This 37 year-old woman had previously undergone breast augmentation and liposuction at our Indiana practice. But while she enjoyed the slimmer contour she achieved through high-quality surgery and healthy habits, she wasn't so happy about the loose, droopy abdominal skin that her weight loss left behind.

Based on her good health and recovery history, her lack of hernias or previous abdominal scars, and her good abdominal wall tone, she was a good candidate for an abdominoplasty that could tighten and trim those excess tissues. While she was under general anesthesia, I targeted the loose skin hanging from her belly area, trimming it to allow for better skin tone and a fitter look overall.

After their procedure, most tummy tuck and mini tummy tuck patients in Indiana take at least a day of complete rest from typical activities. A compression garment should be worn for the first few weeks, but many patients can comfortably return to normal activities within that two-week period.
