The patient, a mother of 3, delivered each of her children via caesarean section. She had also lost 90 pounds over the course of 2 years through diet and exercise. Her multiple pregnancies left her with stretch marks and sagging skin, and her weight loss compounded the issue.

She and Dr. Galante worked together to develop a surgical plan that focused on removing the excess skin and fat that bothered her most and disrupted her otherwise attractive, healthy physique. During surgery, Dr. Galante made a horizontal incision across her lower abdomen and around her navel before removing fat and skin and reshaping her abdominal contour. The procedure also had the ancillary benefit of removing some of her stretch marks. In the "after" photos, you can appreciate her flatter, more proportionate abdomen that better reflects her healthy, active lifestyle. Her resulting scars are discreet and are easily concealed beneath everyday clothing.

Today, the patient is very happy with her results and loves how her favorite outfits both look and feel better on her. She is planning on returning to Dr. Galante's practice to improve the appearance of her breasts next.
