Meet Stephanie Pantelic, Licensed Aesthetician
Even as Stephanie Pantelic pursued a master’s degree in accounting from Purdue University and began her career, she remained passionate about skin care and aesthetic treatments—a passion she traces back to her childhood when she would practice on her little sister at her “home salon” (the girls’ bathroom). Now she’s a part of our team providing advanced skincare solutions to patients from throughout Northwest Indiana.
Stephanie’s love for all details of aesthetics led her to work as a personal wardrobe sales consultant at the same time she worked for a small accounting firm in Merrillville, IN. As she studied to earn her aesthetician’s license, Stephanie worked as director of business development for a company that designs women’s luxury clothing. She ultimately earned a diploma from Universal Spa Training Academy in Illinois and, in August 2019, became a licensed aesthetician in both Indiana and Illinois.
Forging a Connection With Patients
As a licensed aesthetician, Stephanie combines her natural desire to help and educate patients with the knowledge needed to clarify and establish their personal skincare treatment plans. “It’s their personal skincare journey that I’m delighted to be a part of,” says Stephanie.
When meeting patients for the first time, Stephanie has them sit in front of a mirror and describe their skincare concerns. Their concerns and expectations, along with their health history information, forms the foundation of a skincare treatment plan that focuses on prevention, correction, and maintenance.
“I feel privileged to be working with our surgeons and their staff offering skincare consultations and chemical peels of various depths. My goal is to provide each patient with a thorough skincare consultation and develop a customized treatment plan based on their desire for prevention, correction, and maintenance.”
Education & Training
Stephanie’s commitment to obtaining a medical aesthetics license involved finding the best possible program, which happened to include a lengthy commute to the Universal Spa Training Academy in Downers Grove, IL.
Her aesthetics training also includes:
- True-U Education, Chicago, IL: 5-day intensive training course covering a range of nonsurgical aesthetic treatments
- True-U Education (online): Certificate of Completion for Aesthetic Laser and Light therapies
- Physicians Care Alliance (PCA Skin): Certified in professional chemical peels, science, and application
- Image Skincare, Downers Grove, IL: Certified product knowledge and chemical peels 101
- Dermaplane Pro, Anton, IN: Certified in dermaplane treatments
Additionally, Stephanie is a member of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists (SPSSCS).

Outside the Office
Even though 3 of Stephanie’s 4 sons are now adults (the youngest son is 11), the family still gathers often to enjoy cooking together and being active. Stephanie satisfies her competitive side by running and working out. “I love the thrill of a good race,” she says. “I enjoy the competitive component, but even more rewarding is setting a physical goal and achieving it.”
