This 18-year old from Saint John, Indiana, had naturally large breasts that caused her neck pain and frequent headaches. She filled a 36 D bra size, and the weight on her bra straps created uncomfortable grooving on her shoulders. These concerns prompted her to seek out a plastic surgeon in Indiana. At her private consultation, I explained how breast reduction could relieve her pain. Reshaping and reducing excess tissue would significantly decrease the weight of her breasts, helping relieve the strain on her neck and back. Smaller breasts would also require smaller bras with less support, reducing the problems she experienced with her bra straps. I recommended a surgical approach and explained the surgery process in detail before, and we set a date for her surgery. I performed her outpatient surgery at the Illiana Surgery center in Munster, Indiana using general anesthesia. Sculpting and reshaping her underlying breast tissue reduced the overall size of her breasts. As a result of her breast reduction in Indiana the patient can enjoy full breasts that don't cause her discomfort. Now, she fills a C cup bra comfortably and is very happy with her beautiful results.
