This 34 year old aesthetician came to see me in my Schererville plastic surgery office wanting to improve the contour of her abdomen and hips. She desired a more hourglass shape to her waist. She was an excellent candidate for liposuction, because she had localized areas of fat collections with firm overlying skin. This assured me that the skin would shrink nicely and evenly over the newly shaped fat. Her plastic surgery was completed at an Indiana surgery center where much of my plastic surgery liposuction cases are performed. I removed 1450cc of fat from her hips and 900 cc of fat from her tummy. She wore a compression garment, much like a girdle, for 4 weeks after her procedure but was able to shower the day after her surgery. Her before and after photographs demonstrate the remarkable results that can be obtained with liposuction. Being close to her ideal body weight helped her achieve her goals. The lower abdominal bulge is gone, and her treated hips gave her the wait she hoped for. |
