Like many mothers, this 28-year-old woman from Crete, Illinois wanted to enhance the look of her breasts after breastfeeding her baby. At a B/C cup, she was interested in undergoing breast augmentation in Indiana to become a small D cup. She came to my Schererville, Indiana office for a consultation.

When she met with me, she explained that she would like her breasts to be fuller and more symmetrical. For the size of her implants, I suggested that she have a slightly larger implant placed in her right breast to correct her volume asymmetry, and because she wanted to be around a small D cup, we decided that a 375cc implant in the right breast and a 325cc implant in the left would achieve the size she wanted. After considering both saline and silicone implants, she decided that silicone gel implants were more desirable because of their look and feel.

To achieve a natural breast slope and contour, I placed her implants below her pectoral muscle, which would disguise the edges of her implants more than if I had placed them above the muscle. I made the incision below the breast in the inframammary fold. As these incisions healed, the scars faded and became hardly noticeable.

After she was given ample time to recover from her Indiana plastic surgery procedure, her after photos were taken, showing the improvement. Her breasts are much fuller and at 5'8.5", 140 lbs, her new breast size fits well with her frame. She also saw great improvement in symmetry following her surgery and was very pleased with her results.
