Breastfeeding often creates both sagginess and asymmetry that make even younger women's breasts look "old." This 47-year old school administrator had breastfed 3 children and wanted to balance the size of her breasts and improve their position. She researched her options for a Indiana plastic surgeon and decided to meet with me at my Schererville office to share her goals.

In my consultations I examine the patient's body shape and tissues, review their medical history, and spend some time discussing their goals and expectations in depth. This particular patient had a noticeable size difference between her breasts – the left breast fit a D bra cup while the right fit a DD. I explained that many women have similar problems with asymmetry, and I felt she would be a good candidate for a mastopexy (breast lift) that would lift both breasts while reducing the volume of the larger one slightly.

Her surgery was performed at Lake Park Surgicare in Hobart, Indiana, under general anesthesia. I removed excess tissue around and below her areolas, then tightened the surrounding tissues to restore each breast to a higher position.

After her procedure her breasts look much more attractive and balance very nicely with her slimmer, healthy physique. Both breasts comfortably fit a C-cup bra, and she is very pleased with the outcome of her breast enhancement in Indiana
