As a mother of one, this 33-year-old from Tinley Park, Illinois, was happy with the size of her breasts, but she was not as pleased with how pregnancy and gravity had caused her breasts to sag. She decided to find out whether cosmetic surgery could improve the position of her breasts without making a noticeable change to their volume. With these goals in mind, she began searching for a plastic surgeon in Indiana. When I met with her at my Schererville office, we discussed what she did and did not like about her breasts, and talked over her goals in detail. After listening to her desires for improvement, I recommended breast lift as the best way to give her breasts a younger look that would match much better with the rest of her body. The patient decided to undergo the procedure, and we discussed her surgical options in detail. I performed the patient's outpatient procedure under general anesthesia at the Munster Same Day Surgery Center. I carefully made an incision around each areola and vertically down each breast. Without reducing breast volume, removed her excess breast skin, tightening the remainder so that her breasts would retain a higher position. In the process, I also repositioned her nipples without detaching them, ensuring a healthy and aesthetically balanced result. The patient's breasts complement her body very well and still appear full after her breast lift in Indiana. She is extremely happy with how her results have developed, and enjoys her balanced and rejuvenated appearance.
