This 42-year-old patient from Hammond, Indiana, filled a 42 DDD bra and felt it was time to think about breast reduction in Indiana. She liked the fact that her breasts were full and rounded, but felt that their position and size just did not flatter her body the way she would have preferred, and she was very unhappy with the back pain and bra-strap grooves her large breasts created. She came to my office to find out how a breast enhancement procedure might give her the shape she wanted and help make a difference in the day-to-day discomfort she was experiencing. After examining her breasts, I explained her options for her breast reduction and discussed with her in detail the approach I felt would be more effective. She agreed to surgery and we talked over the recovery process in detail to make sure she felt fully prepared. I performed her outpatient breast reduction procedure at the Illiana Surgery Center in Munster, Indiana. I created an incision around the areola and down to the breast crease, allowing me to lift and minimize her breast tissues at the same time. Now, the patient is very pleased and much more comfortable. Her reduced breast size fits her body type very well, and appear properly shaped from all angles. Although the patient is still healing from her breast enhancement in Indiana, she is already very glad to be experiencing the benefits of her smaller and shapelier breast size.
