JUVÉDERM® & Restylane®
Plump lips, well-defined cheekbones and smooth, supple skin are the components of an attractively youthful face. Underlying support structures responsible for these features break down with age, causing a sagging, wrinkled and sunken appearance. Dr. Gus Galante offers the dermal fillers JUVÉDERM® and Restylane® at his Indiana practice to help both men and women to look better and feel younger.
Injectable dermal fillers from board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Gus Galante reduce wrinkles and add volume to lips and cheeks. Request a complimentary consultationRequest a complimentary consultation online with Dr. Gus Galante or call our Valparaiso or Schererville office at (800) 721-3244.

Talking It Over
Dr. Galante will discuss your options for dermal fillers during your consultation. After examining your skin tone and facial structure, he will explain the injection procedure and outline the risks and benefits of each type of filler. He will also inform you of any medications and vitamins to avoid prior to your treatment.
Dr. Galante administers fillers on an outpatient basis, meaning you can go home the same day. Treatments last less than 30 minutes, depending on the number of injections necessary for your desired results.
Dr. Galante offers the hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers JUVÉDERM and Restylane. HA is a complex sugar that attracts and binds with water to promote skin hydration and create volume. Because HA occurs naturally in the human body, neither of these fillers require an allergy test. JUVÉDERM results last up to 9 months; Restylane results last between 6 months and a year.
The injections may cause minimal discomfort, which a topical anesthetic can alleviate. HA fillers require little to no downtime or recovery, and many patients return to their daily routine immediately following their treatment. Bruising or swelling may occur and last for hours or days, but these are easily concealed with makeup.
